What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is a complementary therapy that is based on the theory that different points and areas on the feet and hands correspond with different areas of the body. Reflexology is an ancient therapy which has been practiced for over 5000 years and it is believed that working these points or areas can help aid relaxation, improve mood, release tension, enhance sleep and can generally help improve well being; allowing us to cope better with the stresses that life can bring. Reflexology may also provide support for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, complimenting allopathic medicine.

However every person is unique so this happens on a very individual basis and medical advice should always be sought first where appropriate. Holding a level 5 qualification means that I have knowledge and understanding of many different ailments and conditions that effect our body  and I am able to tailor my treatments to a client’s particular needs whilst ultimately providing a wonderfully relaxing and holistic treatment.

What is NEPIP?

NEPIP is a treatment that takes into account the relationship between all the body systems. Neurology (nervous system), Endocrinology (endocrine system), Psychology (mind and behaviour), Immunology (immune system) and Pody (feet). These systems can all be compromised when stress is experienced. A NEPIP treatment works on all these systems through the reflexes in the feet whilst doing a guided visualisation using healing intent. The added benefit of visualisation involves the client in their own healing. This leads to an empowering experience.

NEPIP can only be offered by level 5 practitioners.

What is Indian head massage?

Indian Head massage is a holistic therapy that balances the mind, body and spirit to promote health and well-being. The traditional art of Indian head massage is based on the ancient system of medicine known as Ayurveda, which has been practised in India for thousands of years. Indian head massage is performed on the neck, shoulders, back, upper arms, head and face. Indian head massage improves circulation to the areas massaged, this can improve the condition of the skin, scalp and hair. It aids the lymphatic system in removing toxins and stimulates our bodies defence mechanisms. It can be an excellent therapy for relieving pain and stiffness in the muscles and joints of the neck, shoulders, back, upper arms, head and face. Indian head massage is excellent at relieving stress and tension, improving concentration and increasing energy.
